Dimitra Sakoula featured in Rudolphina article

Dimitra Sakoula, postdoctoral researcher at DoME, was recently featured in the University of Vienna’s research magazine Rudolphina. Her research project “MarCo” on comammox bacteria in marine environments has been funded within the “1,000 Ideas Programm” of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). This program funds particularly novel research outside the current scientific understanding. Dimitra’s research fits right in, as comammox have not yet been discovered in marine environments.
