I earned my B.S. in biochemical engineering from the University of Debrecen in January 2022. Upon my graduation, I became interested in environmental microbiology, therefore, I had the chance to join the group of Jillian Petersen in March 2022. My work is focusing on the isolation of symbionts of shallow water lucinid clams. In addition, I work on a project of Thiosocius that lives in symbiosis with the giant shipworm Kuphus polythalamius.
