I am interested in bacterial diversity and metabolisms, specifically the diversity of symbionts found within chemosynthetic symbioses. I am currently focusing on correlating the metabolic variation between symbionts with evolutionary host and environmental variables. Furthermore, I am also deeply interested in sequencing technologies and bioinformatic techniques, both of which form the basis for me research.
