Dr. Katharina Kitzinger

 

Kathi successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled "Metabolic versatility of nitrifiers playing a key role in global nitrogen cycling". Kathi performed her PhD work at the University of Vienna and the University of Bremen and was jointly supervised by Marcel Kupers (MPI Bremen) and Michael Wagner. The board of examiners included Kai-Uwe Hinrichs, Mandy Joye, Gerhard Herndl, Sabine Kasten, and Thomas Pichler.
