CMESS at the online European Researchers’ Night 2020

In November 2020, the Centre for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science participated in the first online European Researchers’ Night. In collaboration with
Open Science - Lebenswissenschaften im Dialog (https://www.openscience.or.at/en/) we produced the short video "Die Welt der Mikroorganismen - was ihr schon immer wissen wolltet" (The world of microorganisms - things you always wanted to know). In this video, CMESS scientists Astrid Collingro, Christina Kaiser and Petra Pjevac introduce us to microorganisms and answer some frequently asked questions such as “How do you research microorganisms?”, “Are the microorganisms in our body dangerous?” and “How does climate change affect microbes?”.
